HOD (USMAS)

Movement is very essential for human body and it holds utmost importance for the survival, growth and development. Physiotherapy is the branch of Medical and Allied Science which deals with the study of movement and of the processes that can be put in place in order to facilitate and/or restore one’s ability to move.

The University School of Medial & Allied Sciences has been upholding various capacities and running different courses like Bachelors in Physiotherapy, B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology, and B.Sc. Medical Microbiology. The Medical Lab Testing and Microbial study help in diagnosis and Physiotherapy helps to treat the diagnosed condition as well as the Rehabilitation.

Physiotherapy helps to add “Life to the Years”. Our highly professional team offers an open platform to our students to learn, work, and excel in the field. We also encourage and support our students for research practices.

With education, we provide a healthy learning atmosphere. Our students not only learn about the profession but we also emphasize on personality development, identify the quality and help the student to sharpen and shine that quality.

We are also working at the community level where the problems are identified, defined, addressed, and the remedies are provided to improve the quality of life for the wellbeing of the society. We have organized many camps and the awareness programs in the tricity. Our team is actively working in this area to have the above goals materialized into tangible results.

As the Dean ofUSMAS I feel privileged to announce that our students are increasing as our team is working very efficiently. Our students are preparing well to serve the society. We have successfully organized many international level conferences where medical professionals from different disciplines exchanged their knowledge with our students and faculty.

Keeping the vision, goal, and mission in the mind, our University is determined to deliver the services to the society with the global standards.

With all Good wishes
