There’s more to the university experience than the classroom teaching. Our university campus offer endless opportunities to get involved and learn out of class teaching. On Jan 9 2019 USET organised a one day talk on “Cyber Security and opportunities for overseas studies”. A team from the Saint Peter’s University comprises of Mr. Suman Kalia (Doctor of Professional Studies), Ms. Kristy Allen (Senior Assistant Director of International Admission) came to the university campus and enriched the students with their technical and on the job knowledge. Our university students participated in the seminar. It was managed by the students and for the students. University Kaizen Technical Club students managed and organised the workshop beautifully. Students gained and learnt concepts of Cyber Security and Digital Forensic from the mouth of St. Peter’s Professional team. It helped students in gaining and exploring different techniques to secure and protect their data. Mr. Suman Kalia (Doctor of Professional Studies) started the session with the general concepts and provided in depth knowledge on the topic.
Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Goyal, Dean University School of Engineering and Technology, emphasised on importance of security in every sphere of life.
Prof. (Dr.) Daljit Singh Vice Chancellor Rayat Bahra University emphasised that success can be achieved with the blessings of almighty coupled with the hard work of the individual. He stressed that along with day to day academics, technical sessions like such play an important role in overall grooming of the students.
S.Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chairman Rayat Bahra Group and Chancellor, Rayat Bahra University emphasizing the importance of motivational lectures said that a spark can be fanned to flame with motivation.
